Paddle Baddle

September 2016 - April 2017

Bitr Blok Games (10 Members) - Programmer

Paddle Baddle is a two-player boat combat game I made with George Brown's postgraduate students in the Game Design program. I worked on many different components, including the game manager, water shaders, and core gameplay mechanics. You take the role of one of two campers, trying to steer your boat to collect treasure and flip your opponent's boat using your paddle. The game was developed in Unity3D.
Note: this game requires two controllers to work!

Carbon Studios (5 Members) - Lead Programmer

Dark Tides is the first year game I worked on at UOIT, which won the Best First Year Game award. Dark Tides is a 2D Action Platformer inspired by titles such as Metroid and Castlevania. You play as a wandering sellsword trying to topple a band of mercenaries bent on destroying the kingdom. However, with only a sword and bow to accomplish this task, your goal won't be easy. The game was developed in C++ using OpenGL, SFML, and FMOD Soundsystem.
